Repetitive Strain Injuries

Overuse can lead to a repetitive strain injury. These days we tend to relate it to computer use with the muscles and joints affected tending to be those in the arms, hands and shoulder areas. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is the most common. What causes RSI injuries? They’re mostly down to poor posture, sitting in the same position for too long, using the same muscle repeatedly without a break, stress, even vibrating equipment.

How to tell if you have an RSI

You experience:

  • Numbness, pins and needles
  • Tiredness
  • Pain (it can be at other areas of the body)
